Se balancearon frecuencias para lograr un sonido general compensado. Se aplicaron controles para sonidos fuera de registro o “rotos”, con el fin de amabilizar la escucha. Dada la diferencia de calidad sonora entre track y track durante el concierto, se intentó dar un sonido general lo más homogéneo posible. En todos los temas se buscó conciliar el respeto por la estética original de las grabaciones en vivo de esa época con las posibilidades tecnológicas actuales en relación con la recuperación del timbre y de los fantasmas del sonido de cada instrumento, otorgando al registro el mayor realismo posible.
Los arreglos orquestales (en especial la línea del contrabajo y banjo), y armónicos de los instrumentos de la orquesta, pueden escucharse en el mejor balance sonoro posible con total transparencia y definición por primera vez en 67 años.Sonidos saturados provenientes de la grabación original han sido reparados.

On 8 December 1954, Sidney Bechet, accompanied by Claude Luter’s orchestra, gave his annual concert at the Olympia in Paris.
The room was crowded. When the curtain rose over Claude Luter’s orchestra, and nothing could describe the ovation the audience reserved for Sidney Bechet when he appeared on stage.
Not only does Bechet play at length with his customary firepower and mastery, but we also hear, in the best of their forms, the orchestra’s soloists: Claude Luter:Clarinet, Pierre Dervaux:Trumpet, Gil Thibaud: Trumpet, Benny Vasseur: Trombone, Claude “Kiki”Philippe: Banjo, Yanick Saint-Géry: Piano

Restoration Features: No compression. No filters have been used.
Frequencies were balanced to achieve a balanced overall sound. Controls were applied for off-record or “broken” sounds, in order to make the listening more pleasant. Given the difference in sound quality between track and track during the concert, an attempt was made to give a general sound as homogeneous as possible. In all the songs we sought to reconcile the respect for the original aesthetics of the live recordings of that time with the current technological possibilities in relation to the recovery of the timbre and the ghosts of the sound of each instrument, giving the register the greatest possible realism.
The orchestral arrangements (especially the line of double bass and banjo), and harmonics of the orchestra’s instruments, can be heard in the best possible sound balance with total transparency and definition for the first time in 67 years. Saturated sounds from the original recording have been repaired.
